City utility bills (water, sewer & trash) may be paid at 322 S. Forrest, either inside or in the drop box located under the window. This drop box allows customers to drop off payments 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Questions concerning utility bills may be directed to this office, either inside, or by calling 316-747-2109. The City now has the ability to deduct the amount of your city bill directly from your checking account on the 10th of each month. If you would like to participate in this convenience, please drop by the city office to sign up. Also, we are now accepting Visa and MasterCard debit and credit cards for your convenience.
A Self-Service Paysite is now available in the City Office during regular business hours.
This Paysite is able to accept cash & check payments for Kansas Gas Service (Free-No Service Fee) and Cox Communications. It also accepts cash payments for Westar, AllTel Communications, AT&T/SBC, Best Buy, Capital One, Cingular Wireless, Citgo, Countrywide, Dillards, DirecTV, Discover Card, Dish Network, Foleys, Ford Motor Credit (cash or check), JC Penney, Kohl's Dept Store, Lowe's, MCI, Nissan Motor Company, Robinson's/May, Sage Telecom, Sears, Shell, Sprint LD, Sprint Local, Sprint PCS, Sunoco, Target, Texaco, T-Mobile, Toyota Motor Credit, U.S. Cellular, Verizon Wireless, and Wells Fargo Auto. Please be aware that pet licenses expired at the end of 2007. To renew, or to license your pet for 2008, be sure to bring your pet's current rabies vaccination to the City with you. Licenses are still just $5.00 for unspayed or neutered, and $3.00 for pets who have been spayed or neutered. ***
City Hall is open Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. except on the days we have court. We have court on the second Tuesday of each month, and on those days we will close at 4:00 p.m.
